WHAT AUTHORS SAY
George B.
“I had a very fine experience with FMG in publishing my book. Essays in Search of Understanding. They were almost always quickly responsive to my needs and questions. They kept me informed at each step of the process and the final product looked as I had hoped it would. My main contact AC, really came through for me. I can highly recommend them as a publishing company."
Donald M.
“I was very pleased with the courteous, timely, professional service of this publisher's staff, In particular that of Mr. Archie. The cover of my book was beautifully done and the formatting of the text was exactly as I had requested. A+! I will be submitting a new manuscript in a few months.”
Phil Q.
“When I was first contacted by FMG Publishing, I must admit I was skeptical. I had published before but I had a horrific experience. I spoke with the people in FMG publishing and asked a lot of questions. Kent was my contact. He did calm my apprehension, a lot. I understand that it is business, but he treated me like a friend. Getting a book out in a public forum is expensive and not easy, but they did it for me. They offer me a fair price and I have full control of what I want to do with my manuscript.”

NOTE: Individual retailers retain the rights to refuse to sell or display a particular book.
Yes, we do. It is a separate service and all we need is the total word count so that we can give you the price.
Book pricing is set when both the cover and interior have been reviewed and approved by the author. We provide an SRP (Suggested retail price) based on industry standards and current competition on the market. The author canhowever set the final price.
Since the author is the publisher, the author will be provided with the full access of the account where royalty and sales arevisible and easily accessible, anytime, anywhere. This is one-stop log in where the author can also make book orders either inbehalf of the buyers or for personal use.
The whole production process generally takes 12-16 business weeks after ALL the needed materials have been submitted. Just some factors that could impact TAT:
Corrections/Changes
Accounting (Unpaid Balance) Incomplete Materials
You retain the full rights to your book. You will also be under an open-ended, non-exclusive contract. So you can explore other options and opportunities for your book.
It’s no secret, a lot of confusion when it comes to Marketing, Advertising & Branding. So let's simplify it;
Branding = Understanding Yourself. It's about you as an author and it is about your book.
Marketing = Understanding and Identifying your readers. It's about WHO your readers are.
Advertising is...paying someone/or using a marketing tool to tell your readers about you,e.g., ads on platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram etc.
FMG is a full-service company and is a one-stop-shop for anyone or businesses who wants to grow and adapt to the ever-changing demand of the market and different industries. Have a chat with our knowledgeable consultants for a better understanding of what to do next and how to achieve your goals.
LOSE YOUR RIGHTS/CONTROL
This is perhaps the most critical issue for writers. When authors sign a contract with a traditional publisher, they are typically selling all (or many) rights to their work. When traditional publishers insist that an author sell “all rights,” this means that the author cannot use, sell, or republish their own material elsewhere. As an author, would you want to lose complete control to what you have written?
DELAYS
The path to becoming traditionally published can be painfully slow. After submitting my first proposal, it took several months for my book publisher to finally accept it—the reason given was that their selections committee only met irregularly and authors had to wait. Following acceptance, traditionally-published authors can find that back-and-forth editing and fact-checking can also drag on.
DISAGREEMENTS
With more people on a traditional publisher’s team, there is more likelihood of differences of opinion. A conventional publisher’s editor may recommend a copy change the author does not agree with or the publisher may market the author in a completely different genre. Many authors, will have their own personal and professional preferences for how they are categorized, but a traditional publisher may have a much different plan.
I think personally, the best thing about it is not being enslaved by big corporations and other bigwigs and basically not being tied up or working for anyone - freedom (which is basically, priceless).
Yes, you can but due to our relationship with various printers and book distributors, physical copies of your book may currently exist within the book vending channels. It is possible that your book will still be listed as active with other online retailers until these copies have sold out. Also, please note that as part of Amazon and Barnes & Noble’s sales programs, titles that are considered “out of print” are kept in the system as such to allow customers the ability to track hard-to-find books. Hard-to-find and out-of-print books present a great source of revenue for these businesses, which is why they continue listing books that are no longer available through their distributor.
